Your role as Mechanical Instructor
- You will conduct training for railroad maintenance equipment according to the course curricul
- You will run trainings on-site and on customer locations on machines, simulators and in classrooms
- You will be responsible for creation and revision of educational presentations and lectures
- You will prepare practical exercises on machines and training tools
- You will evaluate the performance and learning process of the course participants
- You participate regularly at trainings, trade shows and congresses (national and international)
- You maintain technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and reviewing publications
Your profile
- You have a technical and/or mechanical background
- You have at least 5 years of experience in the rail infrastructure Industry, ideally in an instructor role
- Knowledge of railroad tamping technologies preferred
- Knowledge of railroad track structure and geometry preferred
- Experience with Maintenance of way (MOW) equipment
- Experience in applying inductive learning process and diverse training strategies
- Excellent knowledge of written and spoken English; additional languages a plus
- Great communication and coaching abilities that inspire and engage others
- Open to travel
