New employees should acquire a basic understanding of the railway system, its technical foundations and the requirements for track construction. The course builds on Module 1.

Employees from all areas who have already attended Module 1 and would like to gain further knowledge. For example employees from: sales, customer services, product management, design, purchasing, production, lateral entrants in track construction site management, lateral entrants in engineering offices.

Guideway and its components; Different superstructure types
Construction and maintenance of the roadway; Mechanization of track construction
Example: welding, grinding, catenary, substructure, special processes/machines
Reference to standards and legal requirements; Approvals, TSI, EN 14033, 14363, UIC, ERA, CEN, ECM, etc.
