A new dimension of learning

As part of the Global Rail Group, Global Rail Academy (GRA) is the ideal partner for staff development, training and further education for the global railway system. We have the right learning offer available for all employees working in the railway system: from classic trainings to e-learning and lifelike simulations.
The company provides the necessary expertise to develop staff, whether they are employed by OEMs, construction companies or infrastructure operators in the railway system. Global Rail Academy gives employees the knowledge and tools to make the required processes simple, transparent and safe.

Varied forms of training

Different training tools are used. However, the focus is always on a hands-on learning experience. It is important to the GRA team that the participants learn the course content as practically as possible and through their own experience. The course locations can be very different: from the classroom to simulators to virtual offerings, anything is possible. Blended learning is also possible through a mix of face-to-face teaching and e-learning. The aim is to make the training, but also the participants’ jobs, easier and to contribute positively to their personal and professional development. “We want to focus on the participants and hold our training courses where they actually work. Online and offline, at home, in the classroom and also on and with machines directly on the track,” says Silvia Goronzy, Managing Director of the Global Rail Academy.

Whether newcomer or career changer, experienced operator or absolute professional, whether track worker, infrastructure manager or maintenance officer – the experienced trainers find the right training path for the trainees. To ensure that this does not become a long and tedious affair, individual learning paths are created and the focus is placed on the things that are important for the agreed training goal.

This offer is made possible by trainers who come from the field and have many years of experience in their specialist areas. In doing so, GRA ensures that the trainers not only impart knowledge and experience with the help of the modern training facilities, but also live it themselves.
