Your role as Marketing Manager
- Global Rail Group is looking for someone to strengthen the Communications & Marketing team. We are looking for someone who can handle creative tasks as well as day-to-day organizational tasks at the same level. Our requirements are broad by design, having been developed based on a usual week at Global Rail Group. Please feel free to apply even if you feel you check a lot of the boxes below instead of all.
- Supporting Global Rail Group's internal and external communications in designated strategic and operational marketing projects including planning and implementation of marketing, promotion and communication activities across all channels
- Development & implementation of day-to-day execution of digital and social media strategy for the company, its business units and key projects
- Creating impactful content for website, blogs, news articles, social media, marketing collaterals like flyers, brochures, roll-ups
- Ideating and executing plans for LinkedIn channel growth (increase in following, engagement, retention)
- Designing everyday collaterals such as brochures, flyers, newsletters, social media posts and similar collaterals using Canva, AI, Photoshop
- Editing video content using Adobe premiere rush
- Ideation & creation of innovative multimedia tactics and products including videos, animations, social posts, newsletter and potentially other medium like podcasts, hosting webinars
- Support in developing, ideating, launching and maintaining customer-oriented digital marketing campaigns in support of overall marketing priorities
- Prior experience in core digital marketing aspects such as hands-on experience on SEO, managing SEM, LinkedIn, Google and Meta ad-words is preferred but not necessary
Your profile
- Completed education in marketing or communication, digital media management, digital marketing or comparable education/experience
- Minimum 3 years professional experience in creative communication, marketing, digital marketing, ideally in an international B2B environment
- Solid track record in content creation and using creative & digital tools (Canva, Photoshop or AI. MailChimp, WordPress, Adobe Creative cloud, etc)
- Motivated self-starter with strong action-orientation, hands-on attitude, used to taking initiative and working independently
- Ability to ‘translate’ technical, railway industry related content to comprehensible, simplified, clear content that engages audiences
- Structured thinking, excellent organizational skills, and a high degree of accuracy
- You have a curious mind and you stay up-to-date with tools, best practices and industry trends
- You have a strong foundation in brand communication and/ or digital marketing
- Excellent knowledge of written and spoken English as well as German; additional languages a plus
