THE CHALLENGE
A rapidly developing railway market. A growing list of pressures.
The pace of change in the railway sector is accelerating — bringing new opportunities, but also new complexity that infrastructure teams can no longer afford to ignore.
Rising traffic demand
Capacity constraints are intensifying as passenger and freight volumes continue to grow across global networks.

Ageing infrastructure
Mature rail networks face a growing list of challenges — from corrugation and rail breaks to ballast fouling and wear in turnout components.

Budget constraints
Post-pandemic recovery has tightened maintenance budgets, making smart, data-driven allocation more critical than ever.

Skills shortage
The expertise needed to extract real value from track data is scarce — and increasingly difficult to develop in-house.

WHAT WE DO
Three service areas. One integrated approach.
We deliver tailored services or comprehensive end-to-end solutions — depending on what your network needs.
Infrastructure Condition Assessment
- Condition assessment • Rail management & • Wheel-rail interaction • Friction management • Derailment analysis
Track Data Analytics & Management
- Dashboards • KPI prototyping • Track data collection • Measurement as a Service • Digital transformation
Strategic Track Infrastructure Consulting
- Life-cycle cost assessment • Maintenance strategy • Performance benchmarking - Design-phase consulting
THE GLOBAL RAIL GROUP ADVANTAGE
What sets us apart
Where railway knowledge meets data science, better decisions happen. That is the sweet spot we work in.
We’ve been there.
Our team includes former track infrastructure managers, bringing real-world experience to every project.

The best of both worlds.
The combination of railway knowledge and data expertise delivers solutions which are technically sound and immediately actionable.

OUR APPROACH
We do things differently
Where railway knowledge meets data, better decisions happen. That's the sweet spot we work in — and we bring your team along for the journey, building capability that stays with you long after we're done.
THE PROOF IS IN THE PROJECTS
Where our work speaks for itself
Every project starts with a challenge. Here is how we’ve helped railway operators around the world turn complex infrastructure problems into clear, measurable improvements.
