Basic Course Safety On The Track With First Aid Course By The German Red Cross

About The Course

This module training is a basic course and lasts a total of 5 days (with a first aid course on the 5th day). It is aimed at machine operators, machine operators, service staff, maintenance workers and vehicle builders from the field of track and railway construction machines, as well as employees on the track and managers, etc., who deal with safety precautions in the track area in everyday life and do not yet have any basic knowledge. The following content is taught: accident prevention, terminology on the track, dangers from the railway area, dangers from electricity, safety measures, gang warning signals, contents of instruction, routes to and from the construction site/machine, behavior in emergency situations, behavior when working on electrified lines and backup plan.

Conclusion and Goal

This course is a basic course on safe behavior in the track area (no instruction!). At the end, the participants receive a certificate of participation.

Prerequisite

Participation in this basic course does not require any basic knowledge of safe behavior on the track and first aid.
