Your role as Senior Operations Officer
- You will communicate regularly with executive level (CEO/COO) and other relevant parties (internal and external) to keep the operations functioning
- You will be responsible for developing and implementing the corporate procedures and processes for the business entity in North America (Canada and US) and perform reviews that will continuously improve operations
- You plan, direct, evaluate, monitor, and support the company management
- You provide coaching, and mentoring for departments ensuring teamwork and knowledge transfer
- You manage and drive key performance indicators
- You will monitor and review financial information and prepare and adjust operational budgets
- You will ensure standards are maintained and executed to the best practice levels
- You refer or escalate processing or operational issues as needed based on a solid understanding of the issue, connecting with the appropriate function/partner to facilitate resolution and ensure that service quality is maintained
- You interact with partners by responding to requests in an effective and timely manner
- You use effective relationship skills when communicating with partners/colleagues/customers
Your profile
- You have completed a degree or comparable training with a focus on business or relevant field
- You have at least 10 years of experience in a related role
- You have strong decision-making capabilities, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Self-starter who demonstrates passion for their work, ability to multitask, prioritize, along with sound business judgment
- Results driven with the ability to develop and execute operational plans
- Excellent knowledge of written and spoken English as; additional languages a plus
- You understand how to present complex and partly technical topics in a comprehensible way
- You are ready to take initiative and are used to working independently in a matrix organization
- Great communication and coaching abilities that inspire and engage others
